The Isco-Gottingen Westar 80mm f/2.8 is an M42 mount lens produced by ISCO in 1952. The lens is the lens used by the 135 camera. The lens structure is three-piece similar to the COOKE structure.
Isco is the successor to Schneider, Isco was founded in 1936 as a manufacturer of lenses and high-precision optical systems. Its specialty is film projection lenses. During the heyday of the German camera industry, it supplied lenses for many types and brands of cameras. It is located in Göttingen.
Isco’s camera lens types are named Westar, Westanar, Westron, Westromat, Isco-Mat, Iscotar, Isconar and Tele-Icaron.
Isco
